A blog to document the daily progress, general happenings and goings-on of Mark Vancura's journey through treatment for his T-cell Prolymphocytic Leukemia (AKA "T-PLL"). Written by the man himself, with help (a shit-ton of help!) from Leslie Kerrigan.
Oh Mark, I'm so happy you get to be with Godiva!! I know you missed her!!! Be safe & enjoy being home, but don't go crazy :) You know if you or Leslie need anything AT ALL, we are all here for you... (at work -- LOL)
Dear Mark (and Leslie, if you have returned), I cannot tell you how overjoyed I am to know you're home. Now we've both been to "the edge" and made it back to tell about it. I haven't been on in several days, but just read that Jeanne is a perfect match for you... that's simply incredible and brings tears. I'll bet if you knew she'd ultimately be this essential to you, you'd have treated her more like a queen during the teen years!
If you (either of you) should ever need anything, please know you can ask. All my best to you always, and Leslie, I know I don't know you, but I do send my deepest condolences on the passing of your grandma. You've had a pretty rough 2010 so far, hon, and I will pray that it just gets better and better from here on in and that you two can get back to whatever "back pain" interrupted.
Hey Mark and (Dr.)Leslie! It is Kelly, Kathy and Ashley, some of your nurses from the MICU!!! We are sooooo happy you are home. Congratulations on a miraculous recovery!
